How we calculate
Runtime = battery capacity × 85% (inverter and conversion losses) ÷ average draw. Fridges, freezers, ACs and pumps cycle on and off, so we use a typical duty cycle for their average draw. A station qualifies only if its continuous output covers everything running at once, and its surge rating covers the largest motor starting while the rest keep running. Device wattages are typical values — check the label on yours for accuracy.
